Happy New Year and Welcome back to the new year 2012 with your London Met Model UN Society ;-)

Because of your commitment to collaboration, creativity, and innovation, 2011 was a year filled with noteworthy achievements. I know 2012 will continue this trend. I also wanted to welcome once more all our NEW members into our Society.

We have a range of activities planned for you this year and it would be our great pleasure to see you at all our upcoming events.

• MUN Training / Workshop: 4th Feb. 2012 11am London Met City Campus Room No (TBC)

Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the UN. MUN conferences take place all over the world organised by students and for students.
As delegate you do not represent your own opinion but the country’s that you are assigned to.At this event you will learn how to write a resolution
which is the basis of a debate. Then you will learn how to debate in the workshop.

• Re-Freshers Fair/ Activity Fair: 9th Feb. 2012 11:30am - 2pm Upstairs Rocket at North Campus

If you want to get to know us a little better, if you have any burning questions and or just want to speak with us personally of any issues/concerns you may have

Don't worry if you didn't note down everything now, you will get a reminder for each event ;-) there are more events in March planned such as a Filmscrenning and fundraiser event (with lots of nice prices and goodies for your chance to win) and our Annual General Meeting a chance for you to become a team member of this society and elect your 2012/13 UNAMET Team.
